A solar eclipse is what occurs during a full moon and the moon moves in front of the sun. In ancient times and many cultures, a sign of the end of the world.
In the Norse culture, the Vikings would beat their shields and shouted to scare away the demon devouring the sun.
In Egyptian myths, the eclipse was said to be the evil serpent of chaos, Apophis, swallowing the sun god, Ra, and bring about the end of the world.I know how solar eclipses work. But that’s not the moon moving in front of it…
