I talk a lot about how the 4kids did a lot of little fixes to the sub but the sub actually made a HUGE fix to Anubis. They made him search for the “King of Light” to defeat the “King of Darkness,” and we know from season five that Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is the ultimate beast of light able to stand up to even Zorc, and made the Pyramid of Light represent Seto instead of Anubis.

I don’t know man it’s a super cool fix to a rather otherwise forgettable movie villain that adds to Seto and Atem’s relationship in a wonderful way.

i'd venture to say that 4Kids instead goofed by making it about Anubissince they did commission the JP version but the JP version should still be the proper duband why i wish 4K redubbed it more accurately for the new showingygoDMPOL
