The thought of this scene always gets to me. The fact that Rally was forced to duel Yusei in a situation where losing would mean death. And that Rally chose to purposely lose in order to protect Yusei, despite everything that Yusei did to try and prevent it.
Rally - a little boy - made a very mature choice here. Because he knew that Yusei could help people - could save everyone. He knew that he wasn’t important in the grand scheme of things, and that it was more necessary for Yusei to go on living. What kind of child actually comes to a conclusion like that?
