It’s never completely clear what’s engraved on Malik Ishtar’s back. My best approximation is:

1. The three God Cards

2. A declaration that whoever holds the three God Cards becomes Pharaoh and commands the tombkeepers

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: It says that to unlock the Dark Door that holds Zork’s power (and is also the gate to the afterlife?), you need to assemble the 7 Millennium Items on the Millennium Slate, but you also need to say the Pharaoh’s name, which has been purposefully lost to history to keep the door locked and Zork out. 

It’s actually Ancient Egyptian for “SWAG”
