tf2’s translators come from the ‘mass find and replace’ school of editing, which has resulted in manjoume calling asuka ‘rhodes’ all the time. Great Job
Must be the case in TF3 too lol; have you ever met a The Supreme King? I know that the The Supreme King is evil!
“Hey, Princeton!” “oh my god you peasant call me Princeton” “Sorry, Princeton” is the best exchange ever.
(actually, no, Kaiser telling me that my dueling tasted different was the best thing ever, though I know that one’s genuinely a case of “wtf how do I translate that that’s not even a word”)
wow that took me a second when i saw it lol, i forgot that’s probably Manjoume saying “call me The Manjoume!” wow that’s awkward haha (I thought it was a “call me that one more time and i’ll…” kinda thing XD)
For all the dub inclusions they’ve thrown into TF3 (which is funny because you get those dub-isms in flashbacks to pre-Season 4 stuff, and then when anything from Season 4 comes up, it’s basically as said in the Japanese version lol [kinda like the italian dub]), you’d think they’d have made that “The Chazz” for consistency. :/
Also, they could’ve just done what I did (and what he did anyway) and actually combine “taste” and “different” >_>
