(Really, this is more like “I’m so glad I didn’t kill you”, isn’t it? Fubuki blames himself so strongly that not even losing his memories of Yusuke eased the guilt. 

And there isn’t even a happy ending, there’s no way Yusuke just bounces back from all this and the chances are so high that Fubuki will go through this again except maybe next time it won’t be dark magic, it’ll be something mundane and horrible and permanent, and he won’t ever be able to forget…)
