Is there any part of yu-gi-oh that’s dubbed well?
It really sucks that there isn’t lol. IMO, at least. I’d say “overall series”-wise, DM comes close, but dive into it, and I’d say Duelist Kingdom got off a bit easier than the later stuff. idk I find it more watchable, the acting is still a bit solid, Dan Green did a great job before having to take things up and down a few octaves, Bella Hudson hadn’t gotten a chance to touch Mai, and while the music is just there and there are dialogue edits (and stupid things like inserting the Yugi/Dark Yugi conflict into Yugi VS Mai), it’s a bit better at keeping close to the original than it does as the series goes on. The uncut DVDs were a great step-up, but were plagued with some stilted acting up until about ep. 9 (which was solidly done), and I would’ve loved to see it continue. A guy can dream…
I’ve heard ZeXal’s dub is a bit more faithful, but still has some kinda stupid edits? At least they’re finishing that one this time!
