I love how much Chronos develops as a character from trying to ditch his students to face Camula in season 1 to literally stepping up to face a zombie hoard in their defence in season 3
Like it’s never overtly pointed out but between that and defending the red dorm from destruction in season 2 i just really love how he changes over time and watching the episodes back to back really highlights it
Awww, I like the shots showing Atem with his Aibou and Judai with his own. Also it’s definitely nice to see that Judai’s passion for dueling has been fully reawakened again. He had definitely lost it and although he was relearning how to have fun with duels before now, his enthusiasm still wasn’t quite as active as it used to be. So it’s nice to see that he’s determined to never forget about it again and to hold on to that feeling because it’s an important one to have. ;__;
Lol, also poor Neos is probably like “DAMN IT JUDAI WHY?” ^^;;
MY HEARTTT!! THIS IS SO WHOLESOME!
Awww, that’s really cool! I love how they’ve got a card from almost every major character, including the villains, in there!
And just in case you missed what they all were since it goes by quickly, the order is: Cyber End Dragon, Power Bond, Ojama Trio, Cyber Blader, Master of Oz, Antique Gear Golem, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, Sabatiel - The Philosopher’s Stone, Cyber Ogre 2 (Samejima’s card), Dark Tyranno, D-HERO Bloo-D, Decisive Power of Absolute Destiny, Unequal Treaty (Napoleon’s card), Maiden in Love, Rainbow Dragon, Volcanic Devil, Fossil Fusion, King Mist (Amon’s card), Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes, Dimension Fusion Destruction (Yubel-Martin’s card), Nurse Reficule the Fallen One (Ayukawa-sensei’s card), Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen, Dark Archetype, Water Dragon, and of course last but far from least, Winged Kuriboh. :)
Heh, yeah, after everything they just went through they definitely wouldn’t want to take some other deck even if it is a copy of some famous duelist. I mean I suppose one of them could have just taken it as a souvenier or something but it’s the principle of it that matters most to them. Nothing can take the place of their own precious decks.
happy birthday duel monsters!!!
I love the fact that Yuya is smiling right. He’s come so far from the kid at the start of the show that smiled so no one would mock him. Yuya now can truly smile no matter the situation and we saw him grow before our eyes.

Awww, I love how Yuya’s just like “It’s no big deal, I can get him back easily enough!” He doesn’t want Gongenzaka to blame himself for any of this either.
I love this because it’s also a huge sign of how much Yuya has grown! In his first duel with Sora, he lost Odd-Eyes to an attack and it almost broke him. Odd-Eyes was so important to him, and his own mental state was so easily shaken by things not going to plan back then, that losing Odd-Eyes in a battle made him totally freak out.
But now, he loses Odd-Eyes, and not only does he know that he can bring Odd-Eyes back easily, he’s grown a lot and learned to take mistakes and things he didn’t plan for in stride, as part of the duel and the show. He’s grown up and learned how to handle the unexpected, and it’s so good to see ;w;

Up to this day I’m still very proud of my boy Sho Marufuji.
Ai holding Playmaker’s face (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
I love the fact that Yusaku just let him do that, a normal response from him would be something like “Hey, get off” but no, he just let him put his little hands on his face, how cute is that?
