So now I’ve seen Zarc’s massively OP giant dragon thingy and not only is it a pendulum fusion, it requires a pendulum monster as fusion material. My first thought was ‘wait pendulum wasn’t a thing until Yuya started it so how could Zarc’s dragon require it.’ Then I came up with a theory.

Yuya didn’t create pendulum summoning at all. It existed in the original dimension, Zarc’s dimension. But when the dimension was split into four, pendulum summoning was erased from existence to make sure that Zarc’s dragon could never be summoned again. The only problem with this was the Yuya fragment of Zarc. In episode one when the pendulum summoning happens for the first time, that’s not Yuya pendulum summoning. It’s Zarc temporarily using Yuya’s body to make sure pendulum summoning exists again so that he can summon his OP dragon when he revives later. Remember that Yuya had no memory of that first pendulum summoning after that duel. In other words, Zarc was preparing for his revival FROM EPISODE ONE/TWO.

But this is just my theory.
