5D’s Dub-Uncut Episode 23 REDO - WIP #1: Pre-Duel Jitters
Howdy, people! So, I’ve been spending the past week or two going over what I previously did with episode 23 for this dub-uncut project, readjusting the process and editing that went into it now that I’ve established a routine after handling 4-5 of these now. I realized I didn’t share too many WIP clips from 23 the first go-around, so I thought I’d show off a little more of this now that it’s nearly the finished product.
Here, there was more minimal editing involved; I recycled Luna’s lines from earlier and reverb’d them for the flashback, spaced out Yusei’s thoughts to match JP Yusei’s timing (and reordered a line or two to match JP Yusei), and shortened Sayer’s line to Aki because of the added fluff it got for the dub. Probably not as impressive a clip as some of the duel stuff I hope to show off, but hopefully, you’ll still like it!
