In which FUJIWARA. ;__;
And fifth in our end-of-GX countdown, here’s 176! The three-way bout wraps up as we learn more about Fujiwara, while Judai and Honest (also starring Johan) continue to try and save him from Darkness’s World. Watch as things go out with a bang.

Okay but just look at how different the two are. Both Johan and Judai, when put in very similar situations (having to save someone), tell us what they’re willing to risk for that goal. They’re both very clear about that.
Johan is willing to risk himself.
Judai is willing to risk everything else.
And they both do exactly that. Johan sacrifices himself so he can save Judai and the school (and later again in the duel vs. Fujiwara, where loss meant erasure from existence.) Judai… Well, I think we all know how that particular story went. Judai risks the lives of his friends and loses them as a consequence. Then he destroys an entire world.
Johan’s brand of saving someone is the ‘one life for a million’ kind, and then it’s only acceptable if it’s his own life.
Judai’s brand of saving someone is ‘sacrificing a million people to save one life.’
And if that doesn’t tell you something about how different they are once you go past the surface similarities, I don’t know what does.
Also I would like to point the significance of this:
Edo knew he wouldn’t be the one so stop Amon or Exodia, he just wanted to save Echo but he failed at it. So he did what he could: to make sure that everybody else was saved.
His sacrifice meant that everybody else was safe, and it was alright.And yet he didn’t saw it as a sacrifice, but merely to do his part. To help out in the big picture. Maybe his destiny.
And both Edo’s and Johan’s sacrifices taught Judai something important
Growing up means taking responsibility for your own actions and decisions, no matter the consequences. and to see it through the end.
Judai ‘s bad decisions in the past caused Yubel to go crazy, and it was Johan who decided to go and help everybody
Judai ignoring his friends’ input and doing anything to fulfill his obsession to see if Johan was alive and save him killed everybody.
Yubel gave the Exodia cards to Amon, and even through it was Judai’s responsibility it was Edo who decided to go and help Echo, and he got killed.
Now it was time for Judai to take responsibility for his own actions and
yet in season 4 he cleaned after himself, Kagemaru and Saiou(via se-to-oh)
