Honestly drew that out of context, but also, I can’t ignore how he looks so much more determined and happier he is compared to the end of the series. Adorkable Judai is back in town!

jokes aside I rlly like how Judai’s depression is presented, the way he isolates himself by staying back in the red dorm whole everyone else graduates its a nice allegory for how depression is very much paralyzing and how you are temporally stuck while everyone is actively moving forward and you just watch them while you’re overwhelmed by your own emotions
