Hey, guys!

So, as I’ve said before, I’ve been meaning to look into accepting donations and translation commissions to help pay for my student loans (I pay $256/month from the federal side, ~$50/month for my campus loan), bills my parents are making me chip in for in exchange for NO RENT (just elec and cable, but it’s $360/month), and other miscellaneous costs that might crop up while I try to put more of my paychecks towards getting to move out (currently working a $15/hr temp job that’s set to wrap up in August; planning to ramp up my job search).  I live in the Bronx here in NYC–have for the last three years since returning from my undergrad in Albany–and I’ve been itching to get myself into an apartment with people my age in a better area for a while.  But having to use my paychecks mostly on those bills and to catch up on loan payments doesn’t really leave me much room to work with.

To that end, I’ve finally gotten around to adding a Paypal “Donate” button to my blog, so if I’ve helped you enjoy GX through my translations all these years, see what the differences are between Japanese and English 5D’s (still ongoing as I restore my comparisons lol), or you just enjoy seeing me on your dash, and you have some money to offer, it’d be a great help; if not, even a signal boost would be great! Like I said, I’m willing to work on some translation commissions too; I can translate some songs (examples here), some manga scans, maaaybe even an episode of a show you like? I’m also open to trying to mix for you if you have any audio projects you’re working on, like fandubs or the like (I’m currently working on rescoring DBZKai’s dub with YGO!5D’s music [currently on episode 3], and I also rescored Bonds Beyond Time with a more series-inclusive soundtrack).  I could also try what-ifs (example: a DBZKai episode or clip with ARC-V music), depending lol.  I don’t know what good rates are for all that, though, so if you happen to know what someone who’s offered the same charged, let me know and I could work off of that! 

But yeah, having some side money to handle my loans/bills would definitely be a big help for the time being. :)

Today was my 25th birthday! 

And JACK VS Yuya this weekend? Sounds like a great gift from the card game kamis haha.

Also, finally a heads-up: I’m 3-4 minutes into timing GX 11 (just past ORANGE PEKOE!! I MEAN CHRONOS WUT).  Part of the delay is also my enlisting prismatic-bell for a few edits (like Judai’s extra hand at the end), and part of it is me being distracted by life lol.  For the time being, given the Crunchyroll news, I’ll still be going forward with my finalized Season 1 stuff so I can polish my translations and everything.  With money issues going on, though (mostly loan payments being backed up and home bills most of my paychecks are going towards), I’ll be opening myself up to translation commissions and donations.  Once I figure out good rates for the commissions, lol. (Feel free to send me some suggestions!)  

Also working on side stuff like 5D’s!DBZKai, maybe some fandubs with my new mic working awesomely, and reposting the rest of my 5D’s comparisons, so once I work on GX 12, I might put it on the backburner a bit for a little while.

So that last attempt on Cloudy failed yet-tuckin-again, and Zippcast only lets me upload one video at a time.  Also, Cloudy says I can’t delete more than 10 videos a day, even though it’s been days since I last tried to.

What I figure I’ll do is use ZC for 10, then any subsequent ones in case Cloudy dun goofs again, while keeping the rest as uploaded already on Cloudy.  And I’ll finally get around to posting the hardsub on NAC by Friday once I finish working on the new download thread.

Thanks to alicethedragonvalkyrie, soomin1109, and agenderjoshuakiryuu for testing that link out.  I really don’t get why they’re refusing to play on desktops but work fine on mobile devices… I’ll try one more time when I get home, now that my computer got restarted a bunch of times while running some scans, and if that doesn’t work, I may just start a Zippcast account and move things there like dbret12 suggested.  It’ll be annoying having to update the masterpost though, but no pain no gain lol.

Cloudy just doesn’t like episode 10, apparently >_> At least 30 uploads, a few with added frames just to see if it’ll get up, all failed…

Uploading it on Dailymotion for the time being, so we’ll see how that goes.
