The middle sounds like something 9mm Parabellum Bullet would put out too.  Helps that the guitarist from 9mm’s with Gekidan Niagara.  Listened to it at least 15 times by now on my way home, and it’s still not enough hNNGGGHHH

Was going to do a thing but Sony Vegas 13 won’t let me work with mp3 files and no one’s posted any worthwhile solutions.

AGH I wanna work on 5D’s!DBZKai #3, but I can’t get the leftover original recap music out of the recap vocals so I can put D-Wheel Take Off there… I’m trying to use one of the other music tracks to try and isolate the vocals since they’re timed accurately (recreating what I did with that Teardrop post a while back in Audacity), but no luck.  I could use some ideas if any good audio editors have ‘em, or a higher-quality AC3 file, I guess.

Hey, internet not cooperating when I wanna post a last-minute April Fools joke!

And Judai’s first heart event is out of the way! Trying to get a quick video up of the results using Fraps to record it; may work on getting a longer one later tomorrow.  Need my sleep for ARC-V Sunday!

Also, thanks for the support a few of you guys dished out in that first photoset’s notes! And shoutout to all the new followers I’ve gotten recently. :)

So, it’s all done; I just have to do those minor edits I wanted to make before uploading it.  Should be up by tonight.

In other news, omarrio over on XenoTranslations (the guy working on TFSP’s English patch) posted the original story dialogue, and it being my forte, I offered to help with the GX part.  I’ll be trying to start it a bit this weekend, then get to prepping stuff for GX 8.

Also trying to get a better audio source for 5D’s!DBZKai #3; the music in the recap doesn’t want to go, while the rest of the audio has its music gone perfectly.  I’m trying to do some noise removal, and I’ll try recreating Yamamoto’s recap song as it’s used there to see if it helps.

Is there an English card patch for TFSpecial out there yet? I signed up on XenoTranslations and have been checking it but haven’t seen anything.  I could play through it as is but it’d take extra time for me to read all the cards I don’t know haha

Lol, people who want a reboot of ygo that totally follows the manga forget that millennium world makes little to no sense, all the girls in MW are bland tofu made for man pain / gain, Marik has very little redemption and when he does - it comes the fuck outta nowhere, PEGASUS IS DEAD

IDK man - not everything in the manga is perfect ya know. And like, do y’all really wanna see a direct copy?

Honestly, I pretty much feel the same way. I think the only things I’d really want to see done in a reboot would be the early volumes and some of the character development in Duelist Kingdom that got cut out or altered because they didn’t do the early volumes. Oh and better animation for the later story arcs, of course. ^^; I definitely wouldn’t want to sacrifice Mana’s bigger role in the last season or Pegasus though.

Although, I’m kind of worried that if there was a reboot then the fandom would run into the same problem that happened with Sailor Moon Crystal. I have nothing against SMC myself, except that I don’t like how they’re sticking to the 1 episode = 1 chapter formula, but the fandom has pretty much ended up tearing itself apart over it. And I don’t want that to have a chance of happening with Yugioh.

Pretty much everyone knows my opinion on the manga already
Losing Atem’s development in memory world would be dumb as hell to me seeing as how his memories are such a huge important plot point and we barely see any of it. The anime was the only thing to give us some sort of clarity and people want to get rid of that? Nah.
On top of that his relationship with Yuugi is miniscule compared to the anime and I know some people like that but I know a hell of a lot more people that don’t.
You also lose out on humanizing Kaiba’s motivations and his and Mokuba’s past expansion. And the fall from grace that is the Orichalcos and no I don’t care that some people don’t like that season. I do.
And Pegasus continually being this strange guiding force.
You want to get rid of all that so that Malik’s dad get can skinned alive for five seconds? Or so that we can see some more blood for a few minutes? Or so that Atem can disappear for months on end to brood? Or so that Kaiba can have a tiny role in everyone’s lives instead of the giant dork we all need and love? So that Pegasus can die? So that memory world can make absolutely no sense at all and basically be the biggest disappointment in reveal of villain, villain motivation, climax and resolution of a story ever? So that the females can get shafted pretty hard?

Nah to a manga reboot. Just nah. You like the manga you go reread it.

OK but how about an accurate-to-manga reboot that still expands on things? Remember, Takahashi did want to expand on things in Millennium World before he had to rush it due to his sickness, so including the kind of stuff he wanted to add (the romance between Seto and Kisara comes to mind; I think that was a thing, and I’m sure the anime’s expansion on Atem’s development was also overseen by Takahashi in some fashion) and things elsewhere that Takahashi might’ve liked expanded and that probably were in the anime would probably make it the best of both worlds.  Add “early-Death Note”-style pacing pre-L’s death, and it’d be set.
