So now that I have a paid Crunchyroll account I’m watching GX and… Pegasus created the Crystal Beasts and gave them to Johan, right? (I know Duel Monster spirits exist on their own but I2 still makes the cards.)
I might be totally reaching here but I couldn’t help but notice that Sapphire Pegasus’s effect is to special summon a monster from the graveyard. So, bring it back to life. Coincidence, or did Pegasus give the card that shares his name that power intentionally because of reasons?

I know that Pegasus was supposed to die in the original manga… but honestly? Seeing this kind of character development is way better than any kind of shocking death reveal that he could have had.
…That aside, the part of this conversation that really sticks out to me is that Pegasus just showed this dude his eye (or, more accurately, his lack thereof). It’s kind of subtle so I had to rewind the video the first time I was watching it!
