‘The Commons are my pride, and where my origins lie.’
That line thee is why I firmly believe that part of the reason that Jack, after becoming King, did nothing to help the Commons, is because someone higher up held leverage over him to keep him complacent. He clearly has not forgotten where he came from or his people, so why do nothing unless he couldn’t.
Requested by @zexalfangirl, here’s the final photosets of Reiji Akaba from episode 99 and thank you for requesting this, I appreciate it a lot and I hope you like these, enjoy ^^

New D/D cards from the 99th and 100th episode of Arc V, some of these have already been confirmed in The Dark Illusion
I was inspired to make this post because of a comment I saw on the Internet, and they mentioned how their designs are based on the suites of cards. Let’s analyze!
Himika/Henrietta Akaba:
When you combine her hair and face, notice how it’s in the shape of a heart.
Reiji/Declan Akaba:
Reiji has his bangs in the shapes of diamonds.
He has diamond earrings.
When Reiji was younger, he wore a diamond-patterned sweater.
He uses the D/D deck, which also consists of the letter that the word “diamond” starts with.
Reira/Riley Akaba:
He has the club symbol on his jacket.
He uses the C/C deck, which also consists of the letter that the word “club” starts with. (Are we sensing a pattern?)
Leo Akaba:
Leo’s collar is in the shape of a spade
What do you guys think? Considering how Reiji uses D/D and Reira uses C/C, would Himika use H/H and Leo with S/S if they were to ever be shown dueling?
I s2g, this is the happiest we’ve seen him the entire series.
Also, I think this might be the first time he’s show actual, physical affection to his brother because, just look at his brother’s face. He was not expecting that at all.
And then he just smiles.
This episode just hit all the right mush buttons for affection gosh.
