Here’s GX 136 for you! I know I’ve called a bunch of episodes my favorite so far, but this one takes the cake
(probably ate it too). Something about how Judai reacts after seeing his friends poof away, then eventually raging at Brron, and then getting chewed out by Shou… Yeah. Enjoy! -

Y'know, the scene with Shou letting Judai have it and Judai’s little monologue?
Yeah, I kinda forgot how feel-inducing this scene was…
“Beyond the Sorrow” playing during the Shou part isn’t helping either.

For Shou talking to Ryou, you have this playing. A calming/touching musicbox version of Borderline/Genkai Battle.
Silence as Ryou accepts what’s about to happen and Shou calls out to him.
Then, as Camula calls out her attack, her theme kicks in. And as it still builds up, Shou cries out to Ryou, and lightning flashes outside (which you still hear in this).
Just…
This part.
