Well, that certainly is something to be worried about. Especially for Shou. He hasn’t used these powers at all since his reign of evil ended, and his anger at Yubel could easily tip him over again now if he lets it. Shou definitely wants to be able to fully put his faith in Judai again and so he’s still watching to see what the outcome will be.

But just like Shou, Judai isn’t going to run away anymore and he’s not going to let his doubts and pain overcome him again. Both of them are determined to see this through to the end in their own way.

That’s certainly brave of Shou to want to go up there when he doesn’t know what exactly could be waiting. But I’m glad that at least Judai won’t be alone for the final showdown either and that Shou is still determined that he won’t be again.

Well, he keeps talking about how it’s his last duel and opponent, so it certainly seems like he’s ready to die. But maybe that’s not all of it. He’s certainly not giving up without a fight so maybe he fully intends to actually win this and not die from the duel itself.
