You:
Kurosaki Shun was such a badass character, why did he have to fall into the egaology like everyone else :/
Me, an intellectual:
Kurosaki Shun spent most of Arc-V going through the five stages of grief. First by desperately going whole other goddamn dimension to find his sister causing his friend Yuto to come with him so he didn't do anything crazy. Then spends around sixty episodes isolating himself from other people because he felt like he couldn't rely on or trust anyone who hasn't been through the same trauma. After seemingly getting better/healing in the xyz/fusion arc Shuns mental health and stability fall again once he realizes that Ruri and Yuto are gone. He literally threatens/bargains with Leo to bring his sister back and duels Yuya out of hopelessness only to discover Yuto is still alive and by extension Ruri and finally has hope again. This man took until 145 to get to the acceptance stage of grief and I hate that people only seem care about his anger and frustration because it makes him 'badass' when it reality you're romanticizing unhealthy grieving and PTSD and that's disgusting and you need to stop.
