Something I really like about Arc V is that it made these four parallels in their own right.
Aside from the counterparts and the Akabas, these four and pretty much the last lancers remaining, and they just happen to each specialize in one of the four summoning methods like the other counterparts.
I just think it’s kinda cool that they did this tbh. -

I just really appreciate how badass Sora is.
I honestly did not expect that from a shota character in ygo series.
Not only is he a capable duelist, he’s also one of the most athletic characters. He literally jumped from a helicopter onto a moving motorcycle. Survived an explosion. I mean he was TERRIFYING. Shun had complete faith that he survived the explosion because he’s faced against the tiny menace before and it was terrifying.
And his redemption? He doesn’t angst over guilt or his misdeeds as a child soldier. Instead he just keep his eyes firmly on the present, trying to protect Yuuya and Yuzu in any way he can.
He made up his mind about defying Academia and just went for it, no hesitation.
“I’m deeply sorry for killing your brother, I know apologies won’t mean anything. So if you want revenge, you can take it after we save Yuuya and Yuzu.” Like wow there.
Look at this “thanks, just leave it to me” face. This eager “let me be helpful” puppy face… Just… Wow Sora you need to chill down.
This kid is tiny and intense and terrifying and have the nerves of steel.
