So I’m doing some research on looking at the files in a PSP ISO to hopefully get back to that TFSP translation I started, hoping to translate the story, the duel dialogue, etc, and getting a feel for what files are what in the game. Reading a thread on GameFAQs for 5D’s TF4 where people were talking about undoing the censoring on Aki and Misty, trying to undub it, and things like that, and it’s helpful so far; making notes as needed. The big thing is trying to figure out how to read all these .ehp and .cip and .bin files to get text out of them, or trying to decode the audio…
I’d likely try to copy the translated card info omarrio worked on (and credit him somehow, obviously), but I’m also wondering if there’d be some way to copy over the Field Magic backgrounds in the other Tag Force games, which got thinned out of TFSP. Hmm…

TFSP GX Story Mode - Translation Update: Judai Heart #1
So, here’s the better video I promised! Here’s an update on how the translations I’m whipping up look. After viewing it like this, I’ll have to go back in and fix a few spots so they look better, but yeah, so far so good! The good thing about translating this game text over the show is that since there’s no audio to contradict me, I have a bit more leeway when it comes to adding little things to help things flow better. Like using “Tag-Dueling” in a few spots when just “tag” gets used originally. It’s kinda cool. XD
Also added some GX OST just to switch it up for this preview. Enjoy!

Tag Force Special - GX Translation Progress
Some shots of what I’ve done so far tonight. Turns out someone else posted a somewhat-translated script on XenoTranslations, but I figure since I’ve started, may as well keep going lol. Also helps getting to put a personal touch on it, since I’ve worked on GX for so long. I’ll be working on this bit by bit while I focus on Season 1, maybe a heart or two for each episode (since playing it while I translate would help me get the context, though since I’m up to Judai heart #2 on my phone, at least I’ll know the context ‘til then).
