Fun fact: Takahiro Kagami (that looks like a Kagami YGO episode) actually did some animation for Death Note; only 1 and 37, but notably, he did 25, with that awesomely done Higuchi chase scene.  Also, he worked on Zetsubou Billy’s animation, which could explain a lot in this MAD. XD

(He also did a few Kanto Pokemon episodes, according to ANN, but it’s hard to see his YGO style in it for me lol)

the person who animated these scenes, Takahiro Kagami

is going to be the animation director of episode 144 of ZeXal

This is pretty special. Prior to this, he has only worked on YGO! Classic, and Bonds Beyond Time. I’m really excited to see a NEW episode full of his absolutely gorgeous, funny, fluid, and incredibly expressive animation again.

Here’s hoping that he will be working on even more episodes of ZeXal, and that he’ll also work on Arc-V.

he also animated a few episodes in 5D’s’ WRGP arc, including half of the “Burning Soul!!” episode :P
