In one side, his past is so sad: both him and his sister had the power to see the future since they were kids, no parents and everybody treated them like freaks. Having to look out for his sister, it’s no wonder why he hated people so much and Saiou was starting to get influenced by the Light since the was young. Sure, tragic past isn’t an excuse for batshit crazy behavior, but being possessed by the primordial cosmic force of destruction itself is.
But at the same time, knowing that Judai was able to break through destiny itself, why he doesn’t came to talk to the guy when Darkness appeared back in season 4? I think it was just lazy writing because they wanted to use some of the scenes of the cancelled GX movie and have some more Saiou dueling.
Overall, he was a creepy villain. And that was good. But as an ally, dude you suck
If Saou and Edo aren’t a couple, they are pretty close enough. But then again, when Saiou needed the guy in season 4, Edo was nowhere to be found and seemed even to have some other agent! So much for OTP
NOTP / OT3
I don’t think I would ship the guy with anybody, specially with his sister
Favourite card they use
Only because of the ZA WARUDOOOO jokes
Favourite moment they were in
I like the duel against Edo one of the best Saiou moments. You can get a very through insight of his real self, of his struggle to keep the Light at bay. I mean, usually the Light’s influence wears off but for some reason it only had gotten stronger and by the time GX happened, Saiou was just a meat puppet. And still he struggled so much to don’t use that satellite cannon! That must had required a lot of endurance.
I think there’s some truth in what he’s saying here though. Because, not gonna lie, it actually DOES feel good to break and destroy things occasionally. That’s why you see a lot of people take out their anger via killing enemies in video games, smashing windows, chucking TV remotes at your younger brother (my older sister did that to my brother he backed off immediately), etc.
