Let’s take a positivity break!
Reblog and add something you saw or worked on today. It doesn’t have to be big. If you finished a 10,000 word fic, great, but if you remembered to drink some water or watched an awesome sunset, also great.
Life is scary right now, but there’s also still a lot to love, and we could use the reminder.
I’ll start the ball rolling with the weather. I’m in Phoenix and it’s that perfect not-too-hot-not-too-cold-gentle-breeze kind of day. I’m currently finding an excuse to stand outside my job for five minutes to enjoy it!
I sat outside too. It was a gorgeous day today, high of 65°F with actual sun for once! lol And I reworked the first chapter of In The Garden and I’m pretty pleased with it. I’ve really missed playing in the Ineffable Bastards Universe so it was good to be back there after a 3 week drought.
I wrote a five page e-mail to my boss with suggestions about how we could be better utilizing social media and other digital presence options to keep business going as much as possible during the plague. I have zero actual involvement with that side of the business, but my boss asked, so!
I found an Aloe Plant to take home and had the spoons to make bread, yogurt, and CLEAN! What a day! I’m with @prismatic-bell on the weather in Phoenix being lovely right now too!
Here’s the bread!
That looks like it needs a good hearty stew ladled overtop. YUM.
I started doodling with an eagle as the subject first, looking at the picture/image of a golden eagle before doodling 2 butterflies.
I finished up making a batch of red bean buns! They’re sitting on the cooling rack atm so I’ll let you know later how they taste.
We had a bunch of red bean paste (b/c it is *very* easy to make a lot of) so I looked up a recipe to use up some of it (b/c mochi uses up surprisingly little).
The red bean buns. Soft and fluffy this time, unlike the first time I tried to make them (they came out very dense).
Tastes good.
I made a dress, and I also watched the first episode of an anime i’ve been waiting for for months now and it was everything i wanted!
I finally got the baking soda I needed to whip up some whole-wheat banana (and slightly protein-powder-packed) pancakes based off a friend’s cookbook recipe, which I hadn’t used in months
Paired it with some eggs and a cup of wine for a #BreakfastForDinner with an episode of Dragon Ball Kai Recut~ since no streaming site apparently has the new YGO Sevens up welp
I decided to create a masterpost that would help you with what you are struggling with. Hopefully any of the links below will help you!

What the expect & how to prepare
In 2016, there was major flaws with in-person voting in states like Arizona. This election is exactly the same, with states like Texas and California having people in line waiting past midnight LONG after polls were supposed to close. This is blatant voter suppression and is meant to discourage you from voting. If you don’t have mail-in ballot in your state MAKE SURE to prepare for the worst: wear comfortable clothes, bring water, bring snacks, and get ready for whatever fuckery they might try to pull so bring an extra ID.
If you work on the day of your primary or caucus HERE IS A WEBSITE that allows you to check your state’s laws on time-off voting. This will tell you info on the following:
- How long your job is required to give you?
- What exceptions there might be?
- Whether or not it’s paid time off.
- If you have to give advance notice.
- Do you need to show your employer proof of voting?
How to volunteer
You can also phone bank, text bank, or canvas for Bernie. Even if you’re in a state that already voted you can still do all these things! You ARE allowed to canvas out of your home state. Check your area, there are events happening everywhere or you can host your own. ALSO!!! volunteer as a poll worker if you can
AND!! if you’re fluent in multiple languages you can really help to get the vote out in communities that often get overlooked by campaigns.
(via exuberant-imperfection)
ALRIGHTY EVERYONE if you are planning on voting in the primary tomorrow and all you upcoming primary states here’s what you need to know:
There will 100% be fuckery when it comes to closing polling sites unexpectedly or switching locations without notice. This already happened in other primaries this year and I live in AZ & we dealt with this in 2016 where it was taken to court AND FOUND TO BE LITERAL VOTER SUPPRESSION but nobody got in trouble and nothing was done.
So I’m just telling y’all who plan to vote EXPECT there to be shit that goes wrong because 👏🏽they 👏🏽don’t 👏🏽want 👏🏽you 👏🏽to 👏🏽vote. People in AZ were seriously waiting 8+ hours so if you’re going tomorrow make sure to bring water, dress for the weather in case lines are outside, and bring ID!! Some places will go smoothly, but it’s good to come prepared!
Also, your employer is legally required to allow you to go vote - I know all this doesn’t really mean shit at some places, and some of y’all literally can’t miss the work - but for those of you that can get that time off and go vote because anything’s better than being at work lol
Use Rideshare2Vote. I haven’t tried it, but it may or may not help you find someone to carpool you to the polls.
Also, pizza is nonpartisan. You can donate or report a long line to PizzaToThePolls and get them to send pizza over. It motivates people to stay in line or just give someone lunch.
And don’t forget, vote for your downballots. Local candidates can bring local changes and can have an up-ticket effect. Hunt for your Downballot candidates by checking out the nonpartisan Vote411 or find your voting county to request a sample ballot.

Lastly, these are voting rights organizations you can share around. After the primaries, volunteering at these organizations can help you fight voter suppression like poll closures.
- League of Voters (@LWV) - They might have a local chapter nearby to join. You can volunteer without official membership at most chapters. Paying for membership can get you into leadership positions to decide pivotal organization choices.
- Common Cause (@CommonCause) - This organization has been doing a lot of work fighting gerrymandering.
- Spread the Vote (@SpreadTheVoteUS) - an organization dedicated to helping people get IDs ahead of Election Day.
- ACLU - The American Civil Liberties Union
- TRANSform the Vote (@NCTEActionFund), an org that fights transphobic ID voter laws.
- Apia Vote (@APIAVote) - Bridges language gaps for marginalized communities.
- Rock the Vote (@RocktheVote)
- Black Voters Matter (@BlackVotersMtr)
- Fair Fight Action (@fairfightaction) - Founded after Brian Kemp’s rampant voter suppression during the Georgia 2018 gubernatorial election.
- Jolt Initiative (@JoltInitiative) - To motivate the Hispanic vote as well as fight language barriers.
- TN Black Voter Project (@TN_VoterProject) - A Tennessee org that turned in more than 90,000 voter registration applications and they’re now fighting a load of voter suppression by Republican bills criminalizing voting registration.
- Move Texas (@MOVE_texas) - A nonpartisan grassroots in Texas that has mobilized youths to register to vote.
- New Hampshire Voting Grassroots NH Voters Restoring Democracy
Tirrc Votes (@TIRRCVotes)- Four Directions (@4directionsvote) - Fighting for Native Americans’ voting accessibility.
- Kentuckians for the Commonwealth (@KFTC) - KY voting rights, which is big for the battleground to unseat Mitch McConnell.

Here’s the massive news from With the Will!
- a the new anime is called Digimon Adventure Ψ (Psi)
- it will air in April (9am on Sundays on Fuji TV)
- produced by Hiroyuki Sakurada and written by Atsuhiro Tomioka
- “features Taichi, Agumon, and the others solving problems in the real world caused by Digimon, and apparently they have new Digivices and are in 5th grade”
This information is apparently from the new issue of V-Jump magazine, out today. We should be getting a few more details soon… stay glued to WtW for the best coverage.
So the new anime is indeed an Adventure midquel? interquel? alternative timeline? taking place after the events of the first series. It’s premiering VERY soon, so we’re going to have a busy next few months.
There’s A LOT to discuss here. I’m pretty happy about this, but let’s see how it goes.
My favorite part of Christmas is watching Dbz Abridged- Plan to Eradicate Christmas
