arc-v episode 126:
finds out his dad claims to be from a single unified world and probably regards the current four dimensions and everyone in them as disposable and unimportant
arc-v episode 127:
the girl he met in the fusion dimension turns out to be 1/4th of the older sister he never knew he had, the man he's acknowledged as a rival and his (only???) friend is apparently 1/4th of satan,
and, oh yeah, the dad who abandoned him and his mother so many years ago completely expects him to turn on said friend and defeat him so card game satan won't come back to life. refusing that offer results in said dad blatantly declaring he'd cut down his own son to save said daughter he doesn't know.
arc-v episode 128:
his dad has pendulums. why does he have pendulums. pendulums are supposed to be their advantage. the process to fuse the girls is starting and he can't stop it from where he's at.
also yuya's slowly getting taken over by card game satan. there's that too.
arc-v episode 129:
dad isn't listening to anything he's saying. dad has pendulum FUSIONS. why. not even yuya has a pendulum fusion yet.
dad calls him out on being a straight-forward, second-rate planner who charged into this war knowing nothing (he's only 16 years, old, goddammit) and accusing that of making him still the same straightforward young child he was when dad abandoned him in the first place.
yuya is still struggling against zarc. dad isn't making things any better on that front either.
actually he's egging yuya on to take out everyone on the field including reiji himself. by targeting monsters that dad stole control of from him. (dad that was the first pendulum card he made on his own goddammit)
the man he idolized is forced to turn against his own son to stop this madness, but still expresses faith in said son and leaves on his own to prevent him from becoming satan once again.
the man he idolized leaves reiji the task to save the girls and stop his father. reiji is 16 years old, he's just been humiliated by his father several times over in the past duel, he's staring at a machine that's nearly half way to completion of fusing the girls, his brother is unconscious in his arms, and yuya's pinned to the wall screaming like a possessed demon. what the hell is he supposed to do.
arc-v episode 131:
WHY IS REIRA FIGHTING AGAINST HIM NOW WASN'T HE JUST UNCONSCIOUS A FEW MOMENTS AGO GOD WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS
the origins of Ouija boards are funny if you think about it like they’re part of an another country (China)’s ancient history that was practiced until one emperor decided “You know what this is probably a bad idea” and banned the practice.
then centuries later an old businessman comes along and is like “I’m going to take this and market it as a toy to children.”
Which is the exact plot of Yu-Gi-Oh
I will reblog this every time and if I do not please assume I’m dead.
