So dub!Season 3 started on Saturday in Canada, but lol this OP has been around for a few weeks now
Not a bad collection of stuff, though it’s funny that they have shots of Red Daemon’s Scarlight when JACK doesn’t play into things until 120 or so IIRC. Still, they likely won’t change the OP again until we get to Pendulum Beat territory, so that was probably to cover themselves lol. I’m wondering why that shot of the Yu4 is at “Can you feel the power?” before the first verse, why do they keep using that effect on Clear Wing, but I like what they did with the Yugo and Yuri shots from OP5 (which were my favorites, though Yugo getting a Clear Wing clip and Yuri being followed by Cipher Dragons is lolwut), like that they kept Reiji with Leo from Burn! where it is, why did they shake the Shun/Allen/Gongenzaka/co shot, bless them for keeping the Selena/Sawatari punch, nice Asuka and Kite plug but why no Ed, that shot of Shun where Ruri and Sayaka were supposed to fade in being just Shun now is weird (that shot and the shot of Yugo riding off would’ve been a good way to show Ruri and Rin at least), and it ends on Dark Requiem. Could’ve probably used less monsters that showed up during Synchro, but hey (and also, OP5 and ED5 being 60% pan shots doesn’t help).
Overall, not a bad OP. Would’ve been nice if they changed the song, though, given it’s close to a GX Season 3 scenario in terms of the mood whiplash.

Yuya just called Enlightenment Paladin, Elemental Paladin. Twice in a row. Even though he called it by the right name when he summoned it. And they keep calling it by the right name so I don’t, get how you could make that mistake.
Dub what are you doing? Is no one paying attention to what they’re recording? Is no one double checking AFTER they do the lines? Because this is not the first time someone has called a monster by the wrong name.

Ughhhhhh….
Like, Yugo has no idea that Yuzu/Zuzu is alive, but the dub acts like he does. Which is gonna make their reunion scene, interesting to say the least.
Thing is, I think back when Yuzu crashed into the building, they had Yugo assume the best-case scenario (in fact, I think he literally said “I won’t think the worst!”), so I think this is just them trying to stay true to that. Which isn’t terrible because it gets around the whole thing about him thinking she’s dead, while he just goes on his merry way assuming the best so when they reunite, he’ll likely be all “I knew you’d be alright!”. It’ll be jarring, but what isn’t with these guys.

I know they have the same VA(all the counterparts do in the dub), but Berserk!Yuri sounds almost exactly like Yuya in some spots.
Like, it sounds like Michael Liscio Jr. forgot which character he was voicing and forgot to use his ‘Yuri’ voice for those bits(I mean Yugo still sounds like Yugo).
