Honestly, it was probably Ye Olde Budgete Draine that kept us from Noh amazingness–his last AD episode was back in Standard, episode 21! (Though I’m sure he’s done some key animation since.) Between Hara and Ebina tag-teaming episodes a bit recently and now Noh back (and I think Kawamura’s on for 112?), we could be in for some better quality as we jump back to Fusion~

Honestly, iunno; best-case, you could try image-searching the occasional stock art on yugioh.com, otherwise the Wikia could have some lying around that you could then search up and get other ones.  I tried using the image of Yuzu on the site and it found the one on her character profile on TVTokyo’s site, rendered off the background and all, so it’s worth a shot!

Well, tbh I don’t mind it; there isn’t a whole lot else we can do in Xyz, save for explaining why Kite’s accepted Yuya and co in a flashback.  People say the Xyz arc’s pacing has been crazy, but really, I haven’t had an issue with it.  Especially since it’s been going on concurrently with Yuzu in Academia.  The only qualm I have is it would’ve been nice to see what Reiji and the others were doing in Synchro after Yuya, Gongenzaka and Shun got ported to Xyz, though I’m sure we’ll get a flashback for that when they come back.  Along with that, I would’ve also liked to see them shown going back to Standard to regroup and also see what’s going on with that Lancer program and what Himika’s been up to.  And let Masumi and Yaiba gloriously join the war.

But yeah, I mean, I’m enjoying the whole thing with Ed and Smile World (though lol existential crisis over smiling), didn’t think the Shun “they’re my allies” thing was that badly done (would’ve liked a bit more leadup, but otherwise I thought it was good), Gloria and Grace have been gifts (though I really did like how intimidating they looked in 107 and their slight hamminess [if that’s a thing] in 108 was slightly jarring, but Grace being so intrigued about Enterdueling while Gloria’s groaning about it is great; if this keeps up, I could see them eventually having a conflict over it), Kite just needs to give us an explanation flashback that shows how he changed his mind, and I’d like a little more on the bond Sayaka had with Ruri that has her feeling so guilty over letting Yuri get her.  If Kite comes along to Fusion, I could see those happening then too, but I think an episode or two of breather (maybe played concurrently with the Dennis/Yusho shenanigans [also i’m hella excited for Dennis]) would’ve been a bit better.

Looking forward to it, though!

Ah, thanks! Hate when people do that though; don’t need someone stumbling onto ARC-V for the first time to think it’s this super-sweary show when it isn’t… The script is good as-is, why try to punch it up?

And yeah, from what I hear, he doesn’t credit DMC for the script.  Which, y’know, would be a kiiinda shitty to do.

Pfft, I mean with “The Falcon’s Battlefield End,” preeetty much haha.

I mean, I do feel like there’s a chance they’re going for a symbolic angle there; I get the feeling that confronting the Tyler Sisters will at least let him get vengeance, so the falcon would therefore be done being on the battlefield.  Buuut there’s also the chance that the Obelisk Force swoops in and he’s just too drained to put up much of a fight after that.  And I dunno how I’d feel if he actually gets carded this early into Xyz, since I’d expect him to make it to the final battlefield…

AFAIK, Academia and the City in the Fusion and Synchro dimensions are essentially AUs of GX and 5D’s, respectively, and so Asuka, Ed, JACK, and Crow are AUs of their original series’ selves.  There was some theory floating a while back about how Heartland/ZeXal is post-5D’s if Ark Cradle hit, while ARC-V is post-5D’s if something something Synchro and Xyz coexist.  Hopefully we got some idea of this before the series ends!

OHHHH Yesss that one, it’s like the big “plotting” song they’ve used during Synchro, that’s one of my favorites (think it played in 76 during King’s Gambit too?).  Yeah Synchro’s songs were on-point and with these new songs being as good, I’m just like
