So apparently I’ve been opted in to tumblr beta or, something.
I hate it.
Firstly, I’m stuck in eternal scrolling mode, I CANNOT find the option to turn that off. If I wanted eternal scrolling I’d be on the mobile app.
Second, while they have, decent I guess, selection of colours, someone forgot to tell them that you need to alter the colours of EVERYTHING when you have different colour layout options.
yeah I can totally read those links guys :| Dark grey on desaturated blue is unreadable. And I really don’t like having to stop and highlight things just to read them.
Third, I cannot access xkit anymore (except, for some reason, on my activity page) and I hate it.
If you go to the desktop version on the top of the page is a toggle to turn this off. At least, it’s there on my computer.
There is, but unfortunately it’ll toggle itself back on. Because Tumblr, I guess.
Thankfully xkit is busting it’s ass to make the blue hellsite usable again!
I mean, there apparently was the option to toggle it off when they ran this beta in the past, but it sure as hell doesn’t exist for us getting opted in now.

No off switch. I’ve been forcefully opted in and tumblr won’t let me out.
Yeah, there’s no off switch this time, unless they made it blend with the background on purpose…
However, I did just come across this workaround! Should hopefully work until New Xkit saves us permanently~
