Super Fusion! Bonds Beyond Time - Rescore Project
And finally got the subbed version re-uploaded!
This is Japanese!BBT after tons of audio editing and a rescored soundtrack to include more tunes from GX and DM that the official version didn’t include, opting instead for more 5D’s music than anything (which, while I love the 5D’s tunes, considering it’s a crossover/anniversary movie, sharing the love would’ve been cool). Sparked by the disappointment most fans felt over at Janime/NeoArkCradle over that, suggestions were brought up, GoldenUmi from GX_ST gave me audio tracks to work with, I worked some editing magic to get rid of most of the leftover music, timed the new songs, leveled them out volume-wise and added some SFX where needed, and BOOM goes the dynamite. It’s not entirely perfect, though, given said editing and having lost the original tracks to try and fix it with, but it’s at least watchable.
(I did tweak the dialogue a bit to match the original more, moreso in the beginning by switching some lines around or muting others (and just realized I missed a good chance with Jaden’s “about to get closer!” line in the first scene), and I added back monster sounds for the most part. Some parts might sound like they’re missing SFX; I really just put more effort into making the Japanese version sound good, lol.)

BBT Rescored - Dub Edit| cloudy.ec Videos So, I’ve been working on and failing to get the subbed version of BBT up with the new score on Cloudy for who knows what reason, yet the dubbed version I made somehow works. :S
So, here’s this for the time being, while I work on getting the subbed version to upload. I did tweak the dialogue a bit to match the original more, moreso in the beginning by switching some lines around or muting others (and just realized I missed a good chance with Jaden’s “about to get closer!” line in the first scene), and I added back monster sounds for the most part. Some parts might sound like they’re missing SFX; I really just put more effort into making the Japanese version sound good, lol. Enjoy?

/sounds way more exciting than it should beThis one’s not entirely perfect because of the dub’s soundtrack still sorta sticking around in the voice track (and I was too lazy to download the dub music from that Soundcloud playlist, time them to the movie, and then try noise-cancelling it out), but I did what I could to minimize it, so it should be watchable (it’s especially noticeable as Yubel praises Jaden after taking out M. Cyber End thanks to those leftover GUITAR RIFFS). This is also the audio track that I said I’d move/mute lines for, so there’s that.

Feels good to finally have this off the backburner, lol. I’m uploading my edited dubbed version of this rescore onto my GLL99 channel on DMotion (where my 5D’s comparison videos are), and I’ll put a link up for it as well. You’ll be able to download these from NAC once I post them later tonight.

Alright guys, so this is a teaser for that rescored BBT, featuring the scene where Yusei meets Paradox. BBT Rescore Progress Report
Guys, I’d say it’s about 85% done! I’ve added some SFX from the series and anything usable from the dub’s audio track, so things sound a bit more natural now. I’m just adding more of the original audio in for the silent-BGM scenes since the no-music track I’m using has this weird “hollow”-ness going on with the voices (probably since I combined audio tracks when making it), and I’m up to Judai’s turn. I definitely like how it’s coming along.
Once that’s done, I’ll be exporting the audio as one track through Vegas to preview, and then trying to mux it into the movie’s mkv file. May tweak the subs a bit too, but we’ll see.
TL;DR Should be all done by Monday or Tuesday. Finally. After that, I’ll finally work on getting 5D’s 59’s comparison all done.
And finally figure out what to do about hosting them -

No worries! XD I’m kinda excited myself just to get it done after the last two-ish years, lol. I was really bummed ‘cause I was hoping they’d use it as an excuse to release the unreleased GX/5D’s music (especially when two of the GX ones got used), but they didn’t >_>
With any luck, it’ll be done by this weekend; just going through it and adding/boosting SFX wherever I can to make it sound a bit more natural now.
