So wow, even though, yeah, I just made fun out of the entirety of that last scene from the recent episode, I do want to write up a little overview and more serious thoughts and observations.

First of all, wow, that ending blew me away when I first watched it in the stream on Sunday. I knew it was said it was going to have an “impactful ending” but damn, didn’t think it’d be THAT impactful. It was a very intense, touching, sad yet also very concerning ending which makes me super excited to see what’s to come.
As Yuya says “The fun has just begun” and oooh boy, has it.

I am really curious with the whole glowy-eyed control thing. I want to know who, or what, was controlling Yugo and Yuto like that. Was it their dragons? Was it someone else behind the scenes? Does it have any connection to Yuya’s blank-out when he used his Pendulum Cards for the first time? 

Yuto’s “final” scene was very touching, with him entrusting his dragon to Yuya, wishing for Yuya to continue making people smile, for the world, for the future of everyone. But I’m sure we will see Yuto again. I personally think that he may of fused/become one with Yuya (The ending theme animation seemed to imply this happens) and I believe this is why Yuya passed out. But I guess we will eventually learn what fate did befall Yuto in later episodes.

Also, Yuto has a really nice smile.

Also damn, Yuzu is the “fourth” piece the Professor is “looking” for. First of all, guess this confirms that there are indeed, four Yuzu’s for each dimension as well. So other than Ruri and Yuzu, we will probably get a fusion Yuzu and a Synchro Yuzu (I hope Synchro Yuzu is a badass D-Wheeler) but it sounds like they have the other 3 (And Synchro Yuzu was probably the precious thing taken from Yugo). But what are they the “pieces” for?

The last thing I wanted to say was WOW that haunting choir music over the Yuya/Yuto and Yuya collapsing scene was amazing. I literally watched that scene over and over just for that music. I hope it makes it onto a sound duel, because I want it. I’m doubting it’ll be on Sound Duel 2 (which is out in January), it’d be amazing if it WAS, but I’d expect more Sound Duel 3. Either way give it to me.

I am really excited to see where this plot is going to lead now that we know a little more about what’s going on. I’m also curious about the dimension divide and if something caused the dimensions to be divided like they are into the different summoning techniques.
And why it’s so far only Yuzu and Yuya who seem to specifically have dimensional face-clones.
And all the other questions I have. I still have many, many questions.

This show is literally my most favourite show ever right now. I am excited for this next coming year of Arc-V!
