Expect a mix of YGO stuff (and a little ZeXal and SEVENS [which I'm slowly watching]), with some occasional randomness.Duel Links ID: 537-542-930 | Master Duel ID: 999-767-712

Just got DSOD on DVD; it came with the Japanese audio option, not upset at all by that, but they were too lazy to translate the Japanese into English subtitles with a script that was different from the English dub (thus taking the experience of watching the Japanese, with its original dialogue), and instead they just put the dialogue from the English dub in the subtitles??? which I guess is okay, not gonna lose sleep over that but you could tell, when the English dub added in dialogue that wasn’t in the Japanese version (usually for comedic purposes) the subs kept going even though that specific scene was silent, and sometimes it was vice versa with the Japanese dialogue with no subtitles cuz the English one didn’t have that specific dialogue in that part??? it made everything very awkward, like, would it have been that hard to take the dialogue out/in when the time was right?? like I said, whatever man, just kinda bummed I won’t see a LEGAL, OFFICIAL, LEGITATMATE (whatever words you wanna use) DSOD sub with the Japanese dialogue’s canon and not the English dub’s canon, which as you may know sometimes doesn’t follow original canon (even in DSOD where they had more liberties, since it didn’t have to be censored-tHEY SHOWED GUNS IN THAT MOVIE, THE ENGLISH ONE FOR GOD’S SAKE, WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED) so, meh.

PSA: If you ordered a copy of the US DSoD DVD/Bluray and were hit with this unfortunate case of dubtitles, call Lionsgate’s customer service or email them with proof of your purchase and they’ll send you a corrected disc.  You can find their customer service email/hotline information here.
