It’s kinda funny how, for being uncut/unedited and all, those short-lived DM uncut DVDs were still slightly edited for things like humanoid monster grunts and whatnot. Fixing the audio for them, I’ve done 1 and 2 (and there’s a slight mixing goof around when Faceless Mage comes out, since the music is lower than it should be), and notably, they kick out Faceless Mage’s creepy laugh, which kinda makes the scene…
That’s a neat tactic, but I imagine with how some of the character move their arms while dueling, that camera is going to capture footage shakier than some of the scenes in those faux documentary films.
alright so these are some of the lyrics to the ending credits song of Bonds Beyond Time. there are no important female characters in the film so the song is clearly not talking about one. the film instead centers on three male protagonists, all of whom have a heavy amount of homoerotic subtext surrounding their characters, and one of whom is canonically gay beyond a shadow of a doubt. make of that what you will.
