Oh shit okay do you guys remember back in episode 36, when Yuto was describing the atrocities Academia put Heartland though, and Reiji got all tense and pissed off out of nowhere?
Guys.
He was probably imagining Reira going though something similar.
Like yeah, from what Himika said he’s probably from Standard, but still—he’s from a battlefield not unlike Heartland. Reiji knows and loves someone who’s lived through a war, and he knows what kind of effect it can have.
Oh my word my little sockless man does have a heart.
And a bunch of Yuya screenshots because he’s a cutie in his little riding duel outfit.
I’m actually quite glad they’ve made the star on his goggles see-through now. I don’t know if it was always see-through and they just never bothered animating it as such before now, or whether they got to this point and were all “oh boy, he probably shouldn’t be riding a motorcycle half blind”. Or maybe hiding his eye with them was a symbolic thing, since hiding his eyes when he was upset was what he originally used his goggles for (and he hasn’t done that in ages.)
But either way, they look much better like this when they’re over his eyes.

i still cant believe that two boys, MAIN CHARACTERS AT THAT, are a canon, explicitly confirmed couple in yugioh zexal
(in the original, astral uses “aishiteru” which is one of the HIGHEST forms of love in japan, NEVER used towards family OR friends bc of its strong and serious meaning)
this is in a SHOUNEN series aimed at a YOUNGER audience
like
even in the anime, we had a bisexual boy who fell in love with both the main girl and the main boy
this is such a big fucking deal and i am so mad nobody is giving a shit as much as they should bc “lol extreme ygo series hair card games for kidz bluh bluh” like THIS IS HUGE AND YOU SHOULD WATCH/READ ZEXAL???????
Luna seems to be the first main Yu-Gi-Oh! female that doesn’t have her
most noticeable physical feature being her chest. Instead, (based on the
first picture) it is her legs. This made me wonder how tall Luna grew
to be and here is what I decided:
For starters, Leo and Luna look to
be about the same height. Since there’s a good full body shot of Leo in
the second image, we can use this to help too. Just like with Luna, Leo
has extremely long legs, and it must run in the family.
Using the first.
second and third images, both Leo and Luna‘s hips are way higher than the seat height is
(the lowest portion of the bike where you sit).
The average for a motorcycle is 28-32
inches. However, both Leo and Luna’s legs appear to be much longer than
that, so we can say that the seat height is much more than that too. 37
inches seems more than fair. Include the extra height of Luna’s legs (up to just below the red line in her outfit) and her lower
half is about 44 inches (which makes sense, since both of their lower halfs take up over half their height).
For the top half, we can use the last
picture. The average height of a woman’s head is 8.5 inches (not
including hair) and nothing about Luna’s head implies it’s any
different. Measuring, it’s about 3.5 heads, so (8.5*3.5=about 30
inches).
30+44=74 inches, so Luna and Leo both grew to be about 6′2″ or about 188cm tall.
