So it’s a filler episode. (early season 1 was (apparently) like 90% filler) The Plot of the Day is that a mysterious thief has been sneaking into the school store late at night and stealing the best sandwich out of the sandwich basket for themselves. (for some reason they keep all the sandwiches in unmarked bags so it’s totally up to chance what you get to eat that day. no, i dont totally get it either, but whatever. part of the mystery here is how the thief is managing to snag the single, most desired sandwich (the “golden eggwich”) without opening any of the others)

So being the good natured protag that he is, Jaden volunteers to stake out the shop after hours in an attempt to catch the thief. Tagging along are Syrus and Chumly, of course, as well as Alexis. Why is she joining the hunting party, you might ask?

“Who knows, he may have something to do with my missing brother. And all the others!”
