Translating the credits for 5D’s 29 for the dub-uncut project, and lol for the Animation Director, it’s interesting how we for years normalized “Nagare Namikaze” as 波風立流 ‘s name, but AnimeNewsNetwork has it up as “Tateru Namikaze;” the kanji that’d correspond to the “Nagare” part of their name, 立流, don’t seem to translate to it but do translate more to “Tateru…”

And then I’m assuming Tateru changed their name later in 5D’s (by ep. 62, trio vs Godwin Part 1) to 波風立志, or Tatsushi Namikaze per ANN (or this Namikaze is totally new, but given the artstyle is relatively the same and all), and then went on to work in both ZeXal and ZeXal II under this name, but… “Nagare” seemingly stuck throughout in the fandom for some reason, lol.  The Animation Director masterlist over on NAC and the Wikia are probably going to need a slight update… 😬 

(I mean, I can see 流 leading to “Nagare” as it seems to read that way as a name, but only 波風 correspond to “Namikaze,” so… 立 is standing over here like chopped liver… [it’s funny because it’s the kanji in 立つ/tatsu/to stand… /punted])
