According to the people on NeoArkCradle: in the German dub, Nico’s mustache has been lengthened, which means if they keep this in the ENG dub, it’s less likely he’ll have a German accent. Thank God.
LDS is called LID. I suspected a change and I’m fine with it. Not only does LDS sound like LSD, but it also sounds like the Latter Day Saints (LDS), so I’m fine with this change.
Lastly, the ending for the German dub is a shortened version of the ENG dub opening.
I still prefer Hyperdrive and Halfway to Forever when it comes to dup OPs, but I’m sure ‘Can You Feel the Power?’ will grow on me.
My problem with the LDS change (while more out of concern for them lol) is that the LDS pins the students wear will either have to get edited or they’ll be there intact and we’ll be left to wonder what they mean. Also, the LeoCorp building.
English version of the theme, from that snippet, sounds a little blander than the German dub’s, but still decent.
(Times like these I wish FUNi had the license so we’d get an English BelieveXBelieve lol. Maybe someday…)
[Arc-V] More Dub Names Confirmed
From the German Website for Arc-V.
Futoshi will be Frederick
Tatsuya will be Tate
Yoko will be Yoko
Yuzu will be Zuzu
Neo New Sawatari-San will be Sylvio
Yuto will be YutoOkay but, Neo New Sylvio
Still not following the Yuzu->Zuzu thing, and I hope that’s just for the German dub. But especially if that theory going around about the Yuyas being an entity of destruction and the Yuzus of creation turns true; more reason to have the “Yu” in her name.
Everything else sounds alright to me. [If I don’t hear “the Neo-New Sylvio” color me disappointed]
Sounds like it’s basically a direct translation of the English version we could barely hear. If only I could understand German.

Official, legal subtitles for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s now available
mostlyinternationally!Chrunchyroll just announced and added the first 64 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s to their library of streamed anime. The first half is available to all users, and the second half will be available to non-Premium users next week.
Sadly, not everyone can enjoy this. Some countries are blocked, either because they are not part of 4K Media’s territory, or because of various rights/contract issues, check the link to see which countries are excluded.
If you’re in the US, you can still watch the show subbed on Hulu.com, where a good chunk of the following 5D’s seasons are available.
RIDING DUEL, ACCELERATION!
(via diabolicalhardcore)
After some Remaster Googling, found this link with screenshots and comments about episode 1! (Note: most suffer from jpg-compression syndrome)
So, from the looks of it, the footage gets cropped top-and-bottom with nothing added to the sides to make up for it (like in DBZ Kai). Also, reading some of the comments, it seems Shunsuke Kazama might’ve re-recorded his lines for Yugi and Dark Yugi? One mentions Dark Yugi not sounding as monotone as he did before.
The bigger things, though, are probably the OP/EN edits. Aside from “20th Remaster” added to the logo in the beginning, shots from the episodes replace those shots of Jou/Honda/Anzu in VOICE, as well as some scenes of Pegasus and Yugi added over the ending verse, and the Pegasus still/Yugi and co stareback seems moved to fit into the last line in the song. Meanwhile, An Energy Shower/Genki gets a pretty big overhaul; instead of just the puzzle box with different pictures in it, we now have the puzzle box in the background with shots from early Duelist Kingdom on top of it, starting with Yugi solving the puzzle and Jou/Honda teasing him.
No raw to watch this all in motion yet, from the looks of it, but I feel like the cropping could’ve been done better, at least.
Also, what’s a remaster without some QUALITY still sticking around?
It has come to my attention that the image, name and the potential cards printed in this set was merely a fake created by some lame person hungry for attention.
This source was ygorganization and they have retracted the story as of this morning once it was proven to be a mistake.
Likewise I thought this was true due to its appearance on pojo. That being said, I apologize for the confusion and will continue to bring you the most recent (true) information moving forward

Yeah Dipper sounds like a silly name, but honestly its a pretty literal translation of Hokuto (北斗) the Japanese name for the Big Dipper constellation
its still funny you can totally joke about it but hey, its not wrong
To anyone who is hating on Hokuto’s dub name:
Dipper is basically a direct translation. Hokuto is the name of the Big Dipper in Japanese. Gravity Falls jokes aside, it’s a pretty direct and accurate name.
I didnt know how to approach this subject just yet. I wanted to see the TCG’s reaction first with the release of our new banned list. Since none of these cards appear in the changes, its safe to say we wont be getting these reprints just yet.
But news like this is quite important to see:

As a method actor, I’m having a tough time dealing with the fact that these two characters hate each other.

History will make its move once again. It’s remarkable how they seem to have handed the website over to a marketing team and gave them no other information than the one image already on the site. And somehow demanded a 2:45 preview out of it, and somehow got it.
