Fyusi–I mean Yugo the Dork

Definitely those two.  Yuzu’s development has been good, liked her resolve to get better through learning Fusion and rocking at it (honorable mention to Selena, but knowing more about her would be great), while Yugo’s also been fun to watch, and it still kills me that he and Yuto clashed because of Yuri’s making it a misunderstanding.  We do have some more to learn about Yugo too, and I’m still waiting for them to explain his sync with Yuya from a few episodes ago.

Though Yuri’s also up there too, just because he’s really interesting.  I remember there was an Animedia article saying Yuri does what he does with the Professor because he just likes it (I think), so seeing how his character development goes’ll be nice.  And an honorable mention for Yuya given how he won me over back in episode 4, has been nice to see him slowly grow, and now seeing his ideals clash with the City’s ideals, him taking Jack’s words to heart, dealing with this war’s fallout–it’ll be interesting to see.  Also, Berserk Mode.

Aaaghhhh I hate these because I’ll often like a bunch. XD But let’s see…

DM: Mai VS Yugi’s a favorite, especially now that I’ve read through the original manga version of it.  The way Mai’s disappointed that she’s not dueling him at his best because he’s thinking of dueling Pegasus, and how she tries to egg him onto getting there, was good.  Also, her line about becoming stronger to overcome weakness has a lot of truth behind it.

[Honorable mention: Jonouchi VS Valon in DOMA because FUCKING ARMOR]

GX: Ryou VS Yubel!Johan.  YOU KNOW THE ONE.

5D’s: I have two in the top spot so this is a tie! XD

Yusei VS Aki in the Fortune Cup Finals, definitely.  Especially the symbolism with Stardust’s effect and Yusei trying to get Aki opened up (and the music and everything was just fskdfds;lfjsd;ljfd;slkjf [DUEL OF FORTUNE CUP! FINALS! START!! *cue Mind Games*]).  And that’s tied with… Rua/Ruka/JACK VS Aporia! I mean, Rua–my son for more than 100 episodes–finally becomes a Signer? ABOUT FUCKING TIME.  Also, the chills Aporia sent down my spine with “Young one, this is despair.  I end my turn.” And just everything going on in that duel.  Highlight of the Ark Cradle arc for me.

[Honorable mention: Yusei VS Antinomy.  REST IN FUCKING PIECES SUN]

ZeXal: Have yet to see past ep.10 maybe, so I can’t really speak for it lol.

ARC-V: Yuya VS Reiji was amazing, and I look forward to a resolution.
