Glad everyone is enjoying the video so much! Me and my cast had such a wonderful time making it for you all! <3 And yes Brad Foster is a fantastic Yuri! Hope you guys will look forward to him and I going at it in Scale 9!

Came out really well! Solid acting, Brad Foster’s Yuri’s voice was spot-on, and the direction was overall pretty good (also appreciated how some of the songs cut short like they tended to in the show for comedy).  I commented on the video, but if you want some help timing the music to scenes, drop me a line; I can always figure out a good way to loop the songs so they end well instead of just fading out. :)

Does it matter? I’m more worried she’s going to lose and then die.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally worried about that too. XD; I think I’d much prefer having Yuri corner her, then just when she’d lose or be carded, someone comes in for the save; maybe Yugo like I saw someone else guess, so that way they can finally have their duel.  And Asuka gets to live to duel more later! And if anything, rematch with Yuri or an Academia higher-up and be carded then.  Because with how good her entrance was back in 103, they really should be doing more with her.

But it’s fun to think of them giving her Ryou’s Cyber Dragons to use as a callback to their friendship in GX, haha.

Idk if you noticed it but there seems to be a chunk of snow missing in the middle frame. In the section between the duel disk blade and body, almost dead center of the image.

Actually, the middle shot is the original one as used in the episode; the snow was added by the clone tool while I was covering up the bits of Disk that the text-removing fill put in.  Wanted to show off the newly textless one first, but I should’ve mentioned the placements, haha. *edits*

Awesome, thanks Kay! I’ll chat you the other frames; it’s just a matter of the envelope moving, but it moves while the flashback fades in, so brightness tweaks might be needed too.

If you can’t find an acronym, you could just blank out the sticker and put CONFIDENTIAL across the whole envelope, like a stamp? it’d look better than cramming a whole word into the sticker there, I think.

Hmm, that’s not a bad idea! Or just making the sticker rectangular and slapping “CONFIDENTIAL” on it; I didn’t think of that haha.  My contingency was maybe using “confidential” but using the word twice and having them meet in the middle, kinda like

but that’d definitely be better.  Curious, any chance you’d be able to assist with it at some point today? Just since I’m still not sure about placing text at a perspective in Photoshop haha.

Yep, they were just awful about placing the dubified card over the Japanese card, haha.  Which is weird since I’d expect they’d have the cards on a separate video layer to edit, but odds are that might not have been a thing until after, maybe by ARC-V (since the cards there are actually edited really well, black borders and all).

Mobile or PC? On my mobile, these things don’t load [in the app], but they load fine if I visit tumblr via chrome. On my PC they work fine. So maybe it’s the app?

On my PC, actually, which is why it’s so weird :s I mean I thought it could’ve been that I’m on this blog in incognito mode, but it’s happening even on my personal blog in regular mode… And I just cleared my cookies and cache and everything last night too (and I’ve also been having an issue with my regular-mode Tumblr tab hitting 1mil in memory usage which is hella weird)

Apparently not, since it’s getting through even AdBlock… And when I’m trying to get it to block the element by clicking/right-clicking it, it just opens the link on the ad (which does nothing since I set chrome to disable the javascript/plugins/cookies etc on that domain).  Weird that this is just on Tumblr…

EDIT: Well, just added a filter to AdBlock for that web url and boom, it’s gone. That was easy! Curious to know what it’s from, though.
