Maaaaaan I just rewatched episode 126 and 127 and I still love those episodes sooo much. 

The first time I watched it, everything felt so fresh and shocking with all these revelations, but rewatching them makes the experience better because the show built itself with these questions about Leo Akaba and the whole Yu boys and Bracelet girls plot. It’s like…I already know the answers, but it still feels great watching Leo revealing everything again alongside with the show’s title drop.

Also makes me appreciate Zarc’s character more because his story really parallels with Yuya’s experience during the Synchro arc. Wonder what would happen if Yuya caved into the crowd’s pressure during the Friendship Cup? You get Zarc. Honestly, Zarc’s origins always make me hype and Yuya chanting Astrograph Magician GETS ME HYPE TO THE NEXT LEVEL. Like it just blows my mind how this always egao tomato boy is the reincarnation of the devil. Main protag is also the main villain???? Sign me the heck up. Idk man I’m seeing more and more parallels between Zarc and Yuya and honestly I’m hoping to see more.

I really miss ARC-V.

johan makes me so fucking happy. i love his design a LOT, yes i am a sucker for the blue haired characters, he has a fun lighthearted attitude but not on the same tone as judai- he seems like the “air” personality counterpart to judai’s “fire”*, if that makes any sense. i love his little fucking familiar (whatever these little bitches are calling their monsters), i love his deck, i love him. he’s so good already idc if he ends up being evil or something im ride or die with this kid. he’s so cool

* i specifically chose to reference their personalities to elements because early on judai said he liked the color red, it reminded him of fire and got his blood pumping. it also reflects extremely well on his personality, which obviously thats what the writers were going for. but johan distinctly reminded me of air due to his happy-go-lucky nature, quick thinking, and also just. he….
