Can anyone tell me the big differences between the ygo 5ds dub and the original? Im watching the dub but if theres some big plot changes or they left out some eps (before the last season i already know ill need to watch it subbed) i wanna be sure to watch that too. Just dont rlly wanna watch all 100 s/t eps in both languages;;

I have a whole site about the changes, but the server won’t restore it… When I get home I need to finally do something about it haha.

But major changes are really characterizations, a lot of trash-talking, lots of paint edits, random amnesia subplot added randomly, CATCHPHRASE!, cutting the end of a duel just to avoid showing a guy with a gun pointed at his head (could’ve been edited but they got lazy). They got a bit better about script rewrites come 65+, but it’s still a shell of the original, especially without the original OST. Also, the acting early on leaves a lot to be desired.

With 5D’s being the first YGO series I watched subbed from the get go, I can say that the sub’s a much better experience. :)
