Age of Paradox (A YGO/AoU Parody Trailer)

Behold! In honor of Net Neutrality passing the Senate floor, I present to you my magnum opus! One of my longest video to date! My personal project known as my very first parody trailer!

In all seriousness, this was both a thrill and an occasional pain to make. Why? Well, It all dates back to early 2016. When I was watching the 19th episode of xthedarkone’s GX Abridged, he included a teaser trailer at the end for the 20th episode in the style of the Age of Ultron teaser. With such an ominous music and rewatching the original teaser to get a feel for it, it gave me an idea to create my own version but with clips from BBT. …Of course, I never got around to making it until last month due to education, personal stuff, and maybe some procrastination.

Most of my videos are made on the iMovie app, but this particular one needed a lot more editing, so I decided to bring back an app I was practicing on back when I made my first three shitposts: Cute CUT Pro. Normally, I would have trouble getting back into something I haven’t used in a long time after adapting myself to using something else, but I was surprised I could still use its different functions with relative ease. It was a good thing too because I had to increase my video editing skills tenfold by transitioning scenes that are mostly from from BBT to make them match the original teaser. Yes, I used it as reference so that I could get ideas on when I should use what and it all really paid off in the end. This was also my first attempt at doing lip flaps on a couple characters, and out of the two, the second one has to be my favorite. You’ll see why. 😉

…Is it just me or did I make BBT somewhat darker? I don’t know why, but I feel like I did.
