In light of today’s episode, pls consider the following scenario-

It’s all said and done and Yusaku steps out of the tiny back room of the truck, and sees Kusanagi. There’s a tense moment before Yusaku all but collapses into his arms, clinging to him tightly as he buries his face into chest and just, cries.

He cries with relief but also because ‘I’m so sorry’ because of what he had to do to him, cause he had to beat him in that duel.

Kusanagi just smiles and holds him, tells him it’ll be alright and that HE’S sorry for putting Yusaku through all that and the things he said and did to him and that Yusaku has nothing to apologize for and will Yusaku forgive him(the answer is yes of course).

And Yusaku just gets to cry and let it all out b/c boy does he need it.
