GX 60 (WIP) - #1 Fan Manjoume

[iunno, couldn’t think of a pun for this one]

Thought I’d go ahead and translate Manjoume’s robe here which had Asuka’s name on it, since it was simple enough and all; I’d thought about not doing so and just using a side-note subtitle (and he apparently only wears this in this episode?), but since I translated Fubuki’s banner earlier, I figured “may as well.” Tried to pick a font that could match the original text as close as possible out of what I had handy, and thought warping the text to be curved a bit like this would make it work well.  I then re-drew Manjoume’s headband over the text, and then worked it back into the footage by re-panning the shot that happened here in Sony Vegas.  Hope it looks good to you!

(Also love that after the duel he takes this robe off while Asuka and Fubuki chat, but once Shou and Kenzan haul him away from Asuka, he has it back on again for one quick shot as Fubuki works out that Judai’s missing lol. )

This was the last edit I had to work on for the episode, so I’ll be getting started on finalizing the script soon; should be done by mid-week or so, but we’ll see.  Stay tuned!
