Ep. 181 - This scene was something else. You’re forced to realize how lonely he must’ve felt and to think after everything he’s done he thinks like that about himself my heart is literally breaking
I…that’s an actual gun that shoots exploding cards.
I know I already called the Carly/Jack theme park episode iconic but the Jaeger vs Crow episode is just as iconic tbh

King of Egg
Where did they get that hen in the first place?
is this even a real show
Yeah, this scene has been gifed to death 400 million times, but I don’t care because I am now going to talk all over it.
This is just so sad because they’re both desperately trying to stave off the inevitable. They’re both completely sincere when they say they want to stay together forever, but at the same time deep down I think they feel that it can’t last forever and that someday, somehow, it will have to come to an end. Yugi’s outburst when he shouts “Enough” always gets me chocked up and I love how Yami just stares at him in shock for a second. I don’t think he quite realized that this conversation would affect Yugi so strongly until that moment.
The “I’ll give you all my memories” line is interesting because Yugi already essentially has been sharing his memories with Yami ever since he solved the Puzzle. There’s no way Yami could have known anything about the modern world or how to interact with Yugi’s friends if he didn’t know everything that Yugi knows. Imo, it’s kind of Yugi’s way of saying “You can keep being me for as long as you want, you don’t have to be anyone else.”
Also Yami’s smile in response to this and the hands thing… I’m going to cry nowwwwwwww…
The dub’s “But what if I fail again? How do I know I won’t lose you?” and “I believe in you, Yugi” are really beautiful as well. Yugi is just as afraid of losing Yami there, although more due to his lack of confidence in himself than the fear of an inevitable separation.
So long story short, this is the most epic of bromances and I love it.
