How DSOD Really Ended
(After seeing this post from @keirankane, a Discord convo compelled me to do a thing 🙃)
So yeah, got back from watching DSoD, and first and foremost, let me just tell you, the animation was stunning. Aside from a few lolquality shots, but more on that later haha. Spoilers below–I repeat, SPOILERS–(and given this is the dub, I’ll be using the dub names; expect an update with the originals whenever I get to see JP!DSod):
Just to clear something up re: Darkside of Dimensions’s 2nd trailer, as subbed by me:
So I’ve seen some people think that because of the line, “…and Yu-Gi-Oh! history will now be written anew,” there are going to be history-rewriting/time-traveling shenanigans. That line is really going more for “a new page will be written in Yu-Gi-Oh! history [on top of what’s already there];” I realize it’s my choice of wording to blame, lol.
I mean, we don’t know for sure if there will be or not at this point, but yeah, the trailer was just building hype there, not making the idea explicit. Sorry for the mix-up! XD;
