In which Dailymotion chose only the best thumbnail to use for this episode lol. at first and then i had to put it back
And here’s 175! With five episodes left, Judai and Johan face Fujiwara to get him out of Darkness’s World, but he insists that the duo themselves are the ones that need to be saved. So, how will that play out for him? Watch and find out! Enjoy!
Just a little preview for 175, since it’s all done and uploading now. :)
So my website’s back online! Wanna read up on some 5D’s sub/dub comparisons? Check it out here!
In which Fujiwara apparently borrowed one of Bakura’s hourglasses. Also, DAAAAAKUNEEEESU…
So, sliiiightly later than expected (what do you mean it’s not Monday? :P), here’s 174 for ya! Fubuki VS Fujiwara continues, with great animation as Fujiwara talks some more about Darkness’s World (most that should look familiar if you’ve played Tag Force 3) in the hopes that Fubuki will see things a little… clearly now. :P
This is a great episode, though, and I like a lot of Fujiwara’s lines here; hope you do too, folks! With 175 coming up next week, we’re down to six more episodes! I’ve been looking forward to the Judai/Johan/Fujiwara battle royal for a while too, lol.
Heads-up, guys: I just posted the download links for 172 and 173 over on NAC, so go check ‘em out!
Progress on 174: up to where Fujiwara uses Clear Sacrifice to summon Vice Dragon (about 4:30 in). I like that all of Fujiwara’s lines, minus those about where Manjoume and everyone are, are fresh in my mind thanks to Tag Force 3. XD ETA: Monday at the latest. Also, I forgot how awesome the animation is this episode wow
if you ever feel bad about forgetting your friends’ names, just remember that italian!Fujiwara calls Fubuki/Atticus “Zane” in 173
In which DAAAKUNEEESU~
Here’s 173, all up-‘n’-loaded for ya! Watch as Fubuki takes on Darkness for Asuka and the others, while Judai and Johan play “Are we there yet?!” on a boat. Also, I guess Chronos has to cook rice. Special thanks to the-supremeking/se-to-oh for editing the newspaper page Fubuki looks at!
Enjoy, folks; expect 174 later this week!

this face is going to haunt me in my dreams isn’t it

Curious, anyone know if any of the english Tag Force games have been hacked to have the Japanese vocals in them? After some googling, I saw that this is called “undubbing” the game, and apparently it was only maybe done with TF1? something about the game’s engine made it hard to do in TF2 or 3 maybe, idk.
But yeah, just curious since it’d be a lot better to have those vocals in with the english text in the rest of the game (and it does kinda annoy me that the translations in the character cutaways aren’t entirely accurate–they don’t keep Judai’s “Gotcha!”, for example)
Also, I love those “what we’re clearly not remixes of songs from the anime what no” remixes of some themes like Judai’s Theme and Impossible Victory in TF3 haha. Since they were there as they originally were in TF1 (minus the first part of IV, and even that Turnaround Move theme was in there, albeit partially, though it gets a full remix in TF3…), I wonder why they couldn’t stay intact…meh
In which karma. Also, guess who’s back-*whoop-whoop*-back again~
And now, here’s 172, all done for ya! While Judai deals with the aftereffects of Saiou’s little stunt, Kenzan finally finds Sorano–but is it a good thing? Enjoy, folks! 173’ll be good next week, since Fubuki gets some action–especially since an old friend comes back…

Thanks for the question, I barely get asked anything anyway, so don’t worry. :P
Hmm…this is always a tough one for me, especially if you made it solely GX lol. And because of my subbing it, characters I like writing for would probably also crop up. Guess I’ll do both ends of the spectrum…
For GX—and it’s probably the usual answer lol—I’d have to go with Judai. I just really love his development, especially with the events of Season 3, and how all of it starts to define him in Season 4, like his line to Saiou about using power for a greater mission. Writing his lines in my subs has been pretty fun too; I liked writing a few of his lines in 154 when he was all sassy with Yubel haha (“How many times are we at now?” or something, it was) I could go into detail about why I love his development, but better-spoken people than me have (rhodanum definitely; I’m sure I forget others XD). It also helps that he was going through that growing-up and graduating high school stuff at the same time I was lol. But yeah, Judai, ya lil’ shit…
There’s also Saiou, but mostly ‘cause I liked writing for him lol. I liked a lot of his lines about destiny back in Season 2, and I liked his interactions with Ed and Judai. Writing his lines in 170/1 was nice too, for just about the same reason, and it was interesting to see how powerless he felt since his loss to Judai with Mizuchi being taken. Saiou is also nicely developed in Season 2, so that helps too. And of course, I have to mention MANJOUME THUNDER!!
Elsewhere in YGO? I do like Yusei’s character (before he goes all messiah-like after the Dark Signers arc), and his speech to Rudger still gets me. I also like Jack and his redemption plotline after he lost to Yusei in the Fortune Cup, and his thing with Carly (that gets completely forgotten for no reason). In DM, I do like Mai, she’s a good character, and I liked how she helped Yugi and Atem—at the time Dark Yugi—reconcile in Duelist Kingdom. I’m still at the DK arc in the manga, so I’ve yet to see more of her character unfold there, but I did like her for most of the anime, save a few moments in DOMA. Also, Dartz is still my favorite villain in DM, with Dark Malik a close second. Something about the Orichalcos was awesome to me as a kid, and I did like his character after I got to rewatch DOMA subbed. May have to again soon though, lol. I’ll give Bakura an honorable mention, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the Dark RPG went in the manga.
Thanks for the ask! That definitely got long haha. So basically, Judai would probably be my favorite, but he’s not the only one. :P
